Green Dot Environmental invites you to the heart of Chicago to celebrate  Earth Day with a 5K run/walk and outdoor Green Living Expo. The 2nd Annual 5K for Earth Day presented by Merchants Banc is a leading example of how today’s green movement continues to grow in size and strength, we ask that you accompany us as we run, walk, clean, and celebrate. The promotion of environmental education has historically overlooked socio-economic disadvantaged neighborhoods, such as Logan Square and Humboldt Park. Our hope is to continue to bridge that gap by exposing these communities to essential green / health practices that they may incorporate into their daily lives.

The primary source of funding for Chicago’s 2nd Annual 5K for Earth Day will come from corporate and local sponsors, such as you, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the following organizations: The 26th Community Enrichment Fund and The Humboldt Park Advisory Council.
